Engineering Upkeep Agreement with E.J. Busuttil Ltd

An agreement was recently signed with Edwin J Busuttil Ltd. Through this agreement, Enser will be providing an Engineering Support by keeping all Engineering Documentation up to date, performs regular inspection and testing of services and certifies them, assists in all alterations required, and gives assistance on energy usage and lowering of the carbon footprint.

E.J. Busuttil Ltd. is a long-standing family business. Originally founded in 1988, Mr. Edwin Busuttil’s formative vision was to create a business which excels in the importation and distribution of healthcare products. Currently, the company is run by a board of Directors consisting of Mr. Edwin Busuttil and his three children, Claire, David and Robert Busuttil, who collectively, boast well over sixty years of experience within the Healthcare Industry in Malta. Thirty five years since its founding, E.J. Busuttil Ltd is a highly established leader in its field, with a wide-ranging portfolio including: pharmaceutical and over-the-counter preparations; medical, surgical and laboratory equipment; and healthcare products for personal use.

Enser Ltd have been the Building Services Consulting Engineers for their new Complex in Central Business District Zone 1 and have designed the electrical installation, lighting, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting, and the Data and ELV Services.  We feel grateful that Mr Edwin Busuttil has further entrusted Enser Ltd with the Monitoring of the Building Services and their overseeing their regular upkeep.

Bank of Valletta plc Head Office Refurbishing

As part of the Bank of Valletta transformational policy BOV have embarked on the refurbishing of its Head Office which was built around twenty years ago.

Enser are proud to have been again appointed as Building Services Consultants for the branch and we form part of a team comprising also Bank Facilities Department, The Bank Architects as well as PQMS as project Managers.  The Enser team is under the direction of Ing Anton Cutajar as Project Director, Michael Fsadni as Electrical Engineer and Elton Galea as Mechanical Engineer.   Our Office is tasked with the design and supervision of the Electrical Installation, Lighting Schemes, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting, all other ELV and Data Services.

The second and third floor have now been completed and works are continuing on the First and Ground Floor.  The work is being carried out by Panta Contracting Ltd who originally installed all the services at the Complex.

Hotel Ta’ Ċenċ gets Revamped Air Conditioning

Situated in a remote spot in Gozo, where noise pollution does not reach and in between breathtaking landscapes lies this gem of hotel which features rooms all on ground level finished to provide a very level of comfort. That is Hotel Ta’ Cenc!

Our office was recently commissioned to design and supervise the installation of new Air Conditioning for many of the apartments. After a call for quotations the works were eventually carried out by MA&A Ltd using state of the art DAIKEN VRF Systems under the direction of Ing Lucienne Scicluna.  The work was carried out to a high standard while our office left no stone unturned to see that the works will be fully commissioned and handed over to specification within the budget and time frame agreed with the Hotel Management.

Our office has also provided some assistance to the Hotel Maintenance Team to provide the electrical installation upgrading for the new AC Equipment.  The work was spearheaded by the Hotel Maintenance Manager Bjorn Vella whose work was also of an impeccable standard.

The Enser Team comprised Ing Anton Cutajar as Project Director and Justin Debono as Project Engineer.  We would like to thank Ms Monica Borg for appointing us as consultants on this project.

New Facade Lighting for Middlesea House – Floriana

We are very proud that as the resident engineers for Middlesea House in Floriana we have embarked, together with DHI Periti on the façade lighting of this prestigious building in Floriana. The lighting will form part and parcel of the comprehensive upgrade of the building which will include changing of apertures and redecoration of the facades. Works on the project are due to start in the beginning of next month and should be completed by the middle of next year. The lighting installation will comprise uplighting of all apertures, lining of the roof kerb, and some up and down lighting to give the building its character and will enhance the night look to give the prestige such a building deserves. new regional hub in Mosta

This new regional hub in Mosta has been officially launched during a press conference addressed by the Principal Permanent Secretary Mr Mario Cutajar and Parliamentary Secretary for Planning and Simplification of Administrative Processes Dr Michael Falzon at the Paola Local Council. It is offering governmental services within the community.

Enser Ltd were the appointed Engineers entrusted with the design and supervision of all the Building Services within the Complex. Enser worked close with the architects, designers as well as officials to deliver the project.

New GO plc Commercial Outlet at PAVI – Qormi

On 1st December, GO opened a new retail outlet at Qormi’s PAVI shopping complex. This was part of the strategy to improve the customer interface.

ENSER have worked closely with GO plc Commercial and Technical teams together with the appointed contractors to deliver the project to have a strong corporate solution incorporating state of art engineering solutions within the planned time frame and budget.

The Gozo Innovation Hub

The Gozo Innovation Hub was officially inaugurated in Xewkija, Gozo, with an investment of €9 million from Malta Industrial Parks and co-financed through European Funds for Regional Development.
Spanning over 9,000 sqm, the Gozo Innovation Hub will be housing high-end, smart businesses working on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain and the internet of things. The Gozo Innovation Hub will be creating about 120 new jobs in Gozo.
We are delighted to have been the building services designers in this project, having teamed up with the lead Project Managers and Architects, Med Design Associates. Together we have managed to deliver this state of art project.

ICHIBAN Japanese Burger Restaurant

We congratulate the Preluna Management under the direction of Mr Andrea Preca on the opening of their new Japanese burger restaurant ICHIBAN. We feel proud to have once more contributed as the Engineering Consultants on this project. The building services were designed and supervised by one of our young engineers Ms Amy Abdilla



Mellieħa Holiday Complex Upgrade

We congratulate the Mellieha Holiday Complex Restaurant Management and their Restaurant Operator for the reopening of their catering facilities after extensive refurbishing of the Kitchen, Restaurant and Bar. The official opening of the event, occured on Tuesday 23rd April in the presence of Ejner Holst, and the Prime Minister. We are proud to have been the M&E Consultants working closely with the team including architects-studio Patrick Calleja, and AIS Project Managers Matthew Gatt and Chris Debono under the direction of Mr Hamdi Abu Rab and Mr Simon Stilon. The M&E Contractor on this project was Engenuity Ltd.
